Strange Earthbound Speculation

For those who don’t know, Shigesato Itoi was the producer of Mother and Mother 2, the Japanese name for the Earthbound series on the NES. Now his website has an odd image from a live webcam looking through a fish tank at a large Mr. Saturn doll. Creepy. Some are saying that there may be some Earthbound news on the horizon, but the webcam reveals nothing. You can find the video here.

Revolution Controller Complaints: Part II

It’s been a month and a half since Nintendo unveiled the Revolution controller. While the majority is very enthused and optimistic about its unique features, some are still concerned with the console’s ability to deliver traditional control schemes. How will I still play Madden? Does the remote have enough face buttons? What about multiplatform titles? All great questions, but the answ...

$79 Micro?

Let’s be honest. The Micro is one fine piece of hardware, and it recieved very good reviews after its US September launch. The only complaint in nearly every product review was that the $99 price is too much to ask. Will that change this holiday season? It’s rumored that Nintendo has been soliciting feedback on it’s Micro pricing. Though no sales figures have been released, the c...

Gamestop: March Revolution Pre-release

Gamestop.com has 5 listed Revolution games available for prerelease on March 1, 2006. Though their disclaimer says “content is based on the best available information on price, and release date” this is coming from a legitimate game source. They are using the term “pre-release” which in no way implies an actual release. But it couldn’t be too far off. This does happen...
