Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Infendo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates infendo.com, a Nintendo news, reviews, podcast and community website. This policy explains how information is handled when you read, listen, play our browser games, rate reviews, create an account, or contact us. Privacy questions and requests: tips@infendo.com.

Information we collect

Multi-page forms and optional permissions

When enabled for a multi-page form, choosing Continue sends the completed pages to our CRM as an incomplete request, even if you do not submit the final page. We do not record individual keystrokes for this feature. Incomplete requests are kept separately from completed requests and do not by themselves subscribe you to email or SMS messages. Incomplete requests are scheduled to expire after the form’s configured retention period (normally 30 days, configurable from 1 to 90 days); routine cleanup removes expired incomplete records. Backups may retain older records until they rotate out.

Optional communication checkboxes record the purposes you request and the wording shown at the time. They are separate from browser cookie choices and may require verification before communications begin. Browser privacy controls on a form update the consent manager’s saved choices. If saving those choices reloads the page, we may temporarily retain the in-progress form in this tab’s session storage so it can be restored. This temporary copy is valid for up to five minutes and is removed when restored or the tab’s session ends. Form answers and communication selections are not included in our form-progress analytics events.

How information is used

We use information to operate and secure the site, respond to requests, administer accounts and community features, save requested game/profile progress, prevent duplicate or abusive ratings, deliver communications you request, and understand and improve our content and podcast. Our internal CRM can store contact details, consent/preferences, submissions and permitted activity; it can support tags, lists and automated communications. Creating an account or earning points does not by itself subscribe you to marketing email.

Cookies, local storage and your choices

We use cookies and browser storage for different purposes. Names and exact lifetimes can change with configuration and providers. The consent preferences panel describes the categories available to you.

Use Cookie preferences in the footer or the privacy icon to review your choices. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information requests rejection of optional browser categories through our consent manager, including optional analytics/advertising categories. Its confirmation applies to this browser; it does not erase previous records or recall data already sent. Clear cookies, another browser/device, or a changed consent configuration may require a new choice. Browser settings can also block or clear storage, which may affect sign-in or saved progress. Our site integration recognizes a supported Global Privacy Control signal by requesting necessary-only browser consent. Contact us for account-level or broader privacy requests.

Games, achievements and ratings

Our browser games can record play events, scores, milestones and unlocks. Guest progress may be temporary or browser-specific; signing in can save eligible achievements and points to your profile and CRM record. Ratings can be submitted without an account where allowed and use a browser identifier for abuse prevention. Settings may require sign-in after a number of guest ratings. Ratings or contributions intended for public display may be visible to others; private account data is not intended to appear in public leaderboards or ratings. You can request correction or deletion through the contact above.

Providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate the site, including IONOS hosting/email, Ours Privacy consent/tag infrastructure, configured analytics services such as Google Analytics, and Blubrry/PowerPress and podcast distribution services. Depending on features in use, spam/security tools, comment services and embedded media providers may receive technical information or information you submit. Clicking or loading third-party services such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Discord or social links is subject to their policies.

Configured analytics exports, integrations and operational notifications can send selected event information to systems we operate or providers we configure, including data storage/warehouse destinations. Enabling a connector does not mean every possible field is sent. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, protect users and the site, or in a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Providers may process information in countries other than your own. No internet service or transfer is completely secure.

Advertising, sponsorship and future changes

Infendo is not currently running website advertisements. We may introduce advertising, sponsorship placements or affiliate links in the future. Sponsored content and affiliate relationships will be identified where applicable. Before introducing new advertising tracking, targeted-advertising data sharing or materially different uses, we will review and update our disclosures and consent/opt-out configuration as required. This paragraph does not authorize undisclosed tracking or waive your privacy rights.

Email and retention

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the message’s unsubscribe option or by contacting us. Necessary account, security or service messages may still be sent. If email open pixels or tracked links are enabled, they may measure approximate opens or link activity; privacy tools can affect accuracy. We retain information for the purposes described here, account administration, security and applicable obligations. Cookie expiry is not a promise that server-side records are deleted at the same time. Retention varies by record and provider; backups may retain deleted records until they rotate out.

Privacy requests and children

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, or opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising. Email tips@infendo.com with your request. We may need proportionate information to verify requests for account data, but do not send passwords or identity documents unless we specifically arrange a secure method. You may also have the right to complain to your local regulator. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Accounts and data-collecting community features are not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain a new choice for material changes.

Privacy & browser progress

Reading, listening and game progress lasts for this page without preference permission; with permission, this browser remembers for one year. Rating badges follow your saved ratings, independently of that preference. Analytics permission separately controls analytics and CRM reporting. Resetting browser progress does not delete CRM records.
