GameBoy Micro gets a price tag of $99, play-yan is confirmed, Europe will get a new white GC bundle that won’t have Zelda on it this year, and both the Micro and DS get new colors. Nintendo announced (in addition to the gut wrenching Zelda delay) that the Micro will be released Stateside on September 19 of this year. They haven’t announced an official price though. We’ll have more as it comes in along with our rant on the delay after we get our barings.[Source: Gamasutra]

[Update: This one’s official] CheapAssGamer via 4cr is reporting that the DS will get a price cut down to $129. Supposedly taking place on 8/21, you can also get an additional $10 off at Toys R Us. If true, there should be no reason not to get your DS on.

The new Zelda has been delayed until Spring 2006 (after March 31). That’s one heck of a delay and we’re not too happy. That’s all I’m saying about that. [Source: Everyone]

Revolution will be to online console gaming what the iPod has been to the portable music industry. That’s right. The more we read about Nintendo’s plans for online play, the more apparent it becomes. Mp3 players were around way before the iPod. Why do iPods sell so well? Because Apple nailed it. Look to Nintendo to do the same for online console gaming with easy setup and free service....

One of the best things about my Wind Waker pre-order was that I got a fancy little trailer and bonus disc with some playable Zelda classics about a month before the game shipped. Any word on if this will be the case for Twilight Princess? If so, how soon before the November launch can we expect an announcement?
