Halloween Approaches!

Halloween is only a week away, people! Here at Infendo, we want to see the best dang Halloween costumes around. Send your pics to [email protected] and we’ll display the best! NOTE: That is me as Mario, and I love that costume so much I have used it as often as possible since.

DSi Speak Application hinted by NOA Support

According to the blog Kolma.info, which was apparently support ticket diving for apparently no reason, came across support number 206602. This number had some interesting info which isn’t on the site Nintendo’s support site anymore, but it apparently said this… To redeem a Nintendo DSi Download Ticket number, such as for the Nintendo DSi Speak Channel, enter the number off the Ni...

Be safe and win Donkey Kong’s Spore toys

We love Donkey Kong, but not as much as he loves Spore. When he’s not kidnapping our secretaries and throwing barrels at David, he spends most of his time playing Spore during his visits to the Infendo offices. But coupled with the banana peels and fleas he usually leaves behind, those visits have become a real nuisance. So while he’s off swinging in the jungle, we’re taking acti...

Deep, getting a bit too comfortable at the top thoughts

I never thought I’d say this, but for a company that has single-handedly saved and rejuvenated gaming, Nintendo sure is pumping out a lot of rehashes and lazy, uninspired sequels these days.

Is Zelda: Spirit Tracks the least-anticipated Zelda game in history?

The witty gamers at NeoGAF seem to think so, noting that Spirit Tracks is basically 2007’s Phantom Hourglass with a train instead of a boat. And Phantom Hourglass was already similar to 2002’s Wind Waker. Obviously I can’t speak for everyone, but I’ll admit it: I’m not excited for this one at all. Perhaps Nintendo will surprise us then. Or perhaps not.

Solitary Castlevania Rebirth screenshot is enough

Here’s a single screenshot from the upcoming Castlevania Rebirth WiiWare title. It’s like Konami went back in time and colored my green and gray Game Boy memories.

Deep online thoughts

Out of the blue, without any real fanfare or hype, many Wii games just kind of come with online functionality now, don’t they? When the hell did that happen?

System Flaw: North America’s first DSi only title hits next week

Early adopters of Nintendo’s half-step DS upgrade have eagerly been awaiting a full sized retail release exclusive – next week they’ll get it. System Shock launches on October 27th, and will be the first “DSi Only” game to hit shelves in North America.  It appears to be a basic “tap to shoot” on-rails shooter… except the location is your bedroom and...

2D Boy Celebrates World of Goo’s Birthday With Pay-What-You-Want Pricing, Shares Results

Has it really been a year already? 2D Boy. I love you, 2D Boy. The gaming studio (composed of only two guys) celebrated the one year anniversary of their smash hit World of Goo by conducting an experiment in which they allowed customers to choose how much they wanted to pay for the game. 2D Boy then shared their sales data for all to see and draw assumptions from. “Huge success” is a pretty vague...

FIFA Soccer 10 on Wii is heavy on goals and loaded with options

I haven’t been interested in a simulation soccer video game since the last World Cup. And since South Africa is hosting the event next year, I have a fever to play. Thankfully, FIFA Soccer 10 on Wii satisfies that need with fluid controls, rich graphics, and an exaggerated amount of goals.

What do you think of the LostWinds sequel?

Not being that big of a deal, Infendo was low on Frontier Development’s priority list of “Send free download codes to these websites.” In any case, I’m told we should expect one today, so we’ll continue to grumpily wait. In the meantime, what do you think of the game? Better than the original? More of the same? Speak up already!

Youtube Tuesday – Follow Me

What we got here is a Swedish music video featuring all types of classic video game references, mainly that of Capcom and Nintendo. You can see the video which contains some explicit lyrics after the jump.
