10 Most Anticipated Games from Game Trailers

Reader Kale sent us this video from GameTrailers listing their top ten most anticipated games of 2010, and I have to say that a lot of games on this list are actually on my list. Surprisingly, there are two Nintendo titles that make the top of the list! Are any of these games on your “to get” list?

Gaming Infidelity – Fraternising with the enemy

[Welcome aboard to new Infendo UK Correspondent Phil! -David] Ok, so hands up if you’re a Nintendo fan? That seems to be most people here, good stuff. I wonder though, how many of you would say you were a ”˜fanboy’ (or fanman)? Probably less, but I would definately put myself in this category and it’s very difficult to be a die hard fanboy and a wider videogame fan at the same ti...

Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow [DS] 2010

Awakened Shadow is being developed by tri-Crescendo, the studio behind Eternal Sonata, and they are working hard to Blue Dragon role-playing experience to DS players in the United States in Spring 2010. The game is a continuation of the series, and is set two years after the original Blue Dragon story for the Xbox 360. For the first time in the series, the player can assume the role of the main ch...

What are you Looking Forward to?

With so many good games coming out now and in the following weeks, there has to be one game that you are looking forward to playing. So what are you looking forward to? Tell us!

What do you think about the Current Gen?

Today, one of my friends sent me a website they came across. This website allows you to search and compare information from various search engines. It calculates how people refer to your search term as a positive, negative, or neither and displays it in a bar graph. So, I decided to search what the internet thinks about the current video game consoles. The results I got were pretty shocking, so I ...

The era of HD Gaming is a myth. Or, why there is definitely no Wii HD coming soon

HD gaming, at least as it has been applied to this current generation of consoles by feverish marketing departments who overshot their markets by a mile, is a myth. Always has been. As such, there is almost certainly no Wii HD console coming out anytime soon. Can I be an analyst now?

Netflix not coming to Wii due to “exclusive partnership” with Xbox

Despite recent rumors suggesting otherwise, Xbox 360 will be the only console (at least for now) streaming Netflix movies. The “exclusive partnership” with Microsoft ensures that Xbox 360 remains “the only game console to offer streaming Netflix,” according to Microsoft. Bummer.

Johnny Lee now working for Microsoft to develop Xbox 360 motion controls

Nintendo did not take Jack’s advice to hire Wii hack maestro Johnny Lee. Instead, Microsoft realized a genius was in the room and hired him to work on Project Natal, the camera attachment for Xbox 360 that recognizes full boy motion.  “I have been helping Xbox with Project Natal,” Chang said on his blog. “Spe...

Dan Aykroyd prefers Wii graphics, laments gut

In wake of recent murmurs of a third movie, Ghostbusters co-creator Dan Aykroyd has been “doing the rounds,” dropping hints about rumored upcoming film and the impending video game.  In an interview with Newsweek, Aykroyd suggested that he liked his portrayal on the Wii better than on competing “high-performance” consoles: I love the way we look in the Wii platform, becaus...

For the love of Lord Stanley, someone stop him

My friend Sidney Crosby Andy Marino is the king of NHL ’09. I watched in disbelief as he went undefeated last weekend against some of the best NHL ’09 players I know. Marino stifled offensive juggernauts and danced through the neutral zone against defensive monsters, putting the puck in their nets with stunning frequency. He talks a lot of trash, too. As much as I hate to do this here,...

NYCC: Twisted Towers and Roogoo Attack

At Comic Con a week or so ago I had the chance to play Twisted Towers and Roogoo Attack with one of the developers from SouthPeak Games. To be honest I thought the puzzle genre was dead, you could only rehash Tetris and Line clearing so many different ways, but the guys at SouthPeak have managed to create a very unique and fun game. Twisted Towers and Roogoo Attack, for the Wii and DS respectively...

Dead Rising’s Isabella really loves Ben & Jerry’s ice cream

It’s the only way I can explain why she has multiple chins in the Wii version, coming soon, and not in the Xbox 360 version, which has been out for more than a two years. Sure, the Wii’s graphics aren’t going to be as sharp, and the number of zombies on screen is pitifully less than the Xbox 360 version, but since when has a weaker processor translated into multiple chins?! And t...
