UPDATE: As electricfuture pointed out, the pictured bundle is the $300 version. More palatable for the consumer, yes, but still suspect. Coming Nov. 4, here is Microsoft’s $400 version of Wii. Suffice it to say, a $400 console this late in the game is pretty laughable’with or without motion. But who am I to judge? Maybe it will sell like hot cakes. (Wink, wink.) That said, I’m glad bot...
How many of these classics and clunkers are you familiar with? It’s So Reeeeeeal! Thank you, Sammy Sosa, for one of the best lines ever: At the launch of N64, Nintendo dared us to “Change the System!” and abandon the load-time heavy Playstation. This came after a campaign urging players to stick with SNES because, R...
Infendo reader Brysson Blackwell writes in: I competed in the parent teen division this weekend at the Wii Summer Games and took second place. In the final, we were on stage in front of about a 1,000 people. It was pretty nerve racking, but a ton of fun. Playable games included Epic Mickey, Goldeneye, Just Dance 2, Flingsmash, Pokepark, DK Country, Kirby Epic Yarn, and Wii Party. I got busted taki...
And Yet It Moves came out for the PC a while ago. I played a demo of it and found the game to have incredible artwork and a fun control mechanism. The recently released WiiWare version of the game is easily the definitive edition, with greater control of your character and through use of Nintendo’s awesome Wii controllers.
Amazing to think the DS is only slightly larger than the GBA’s 240 × 160 resolution. (Thanks for the image, Will)
I’ve been trying to unclutter my life and save money: Selling DVDs I never watch, putting the brakes on my need to collect stuff… But just when I think I’m making progress, along comes Disney’s official announcement of the Epic Mickey Collector Box. Would I pay an extra $20 to get the COLLECTOR’S EDITION of Epic Mickey? Heck, yes, I would. The Case, the Wii skins, and...
Good, golly. Do want. Coming Oct. 17.
Sorta feels like Wii Play with a $50 price tag. Am I wrong?
With its 2D retro revival game library prepared to continue its march unabated this holiday season thanks to Donkey Kong Country Returns and a new stringy Kirby title, Nintendo seems content to dip into the past for the time being when it comes to releasing major first party titles. And with the success of the New Super Mario Bros. franchise, the Virtual Console, and the inevitable success of the ...
Netflix is the best Non-Nintendo software to hit Wii. British comedy is the best thing to hit Netflix. When Wii, Netflix and British Comedy combine, you get The IT Crowd. Roy plays Wii. Just another day in the I.T. department. WARNING: ADULT LANGUAGE.
The game released yesterday. Did you play it? If so, what do you think? Is Infendo on crack? Was Mark on to something in his mixed review? More importantly, where do you think this game will rank in the annals of Metroid history? Top of the food chain, middle manager, or bottom feeder? Speak up!
