Castlevania joins Super Smash Bros Ultimate in a big way - Simon Belmont and Richter Belmont join the fight!
They came in the middle of the night, always looking for a smooth transition. When would be the most appropriate time to change the subject? Who will be the one to answer the call, because Infendo Radio is on now! This week we talk Pokémon GO, Fire Emblem Heroes, Nintendo Switch, and even find ourselves transfarring into another Nintentunes segment. We would love for your voice to be heard on the ...
What better place to start our new retro feature than the very system that kickstarted this wonderful journey, the Nintendo Entertainment System. For many gamers, the NES was the system that changed our lives and sucked us into a world of endless possibilities. Whether it was World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros, the first dungeon in The Legend of Zelda, or the initial creepy moments of Metroid, the NES ...
Last week it was rumored that two new Castelvania titles would be coming to Nintendo consoles, which really excited me. But rumors are rumors after all, but Nintendo Power is another thing entirely. Looks like a new title is indeed incoming in the form of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, and the game will be hitting exclusively on the 3DS. From GoNintendo:
Rumors rumors rumors! Only a few weeks until E3 and the rumor mill is running rampant with all sorts of crazy possibilities. Case in point, Castlevania: Mirror of Fate. According to those pesky “anonymous industry sources,” Konami is well underway on developing not one, but two new Castlevania titles, and both will be hitting Nintendo platforms. Castlevania: Mirror of Fate will apparen...
Nintendo has spread itself across almost every imaginable genre, and they seem to do very well in each category. Although my favorite genre is RPG, I do have a soft spot for Horror games. I was contemplating a top ten list for horror games, but realize that everybody’s list could vary. Rather than start a debate as to why your list is better than mine, I decided to highlight a few g...
remember a time when Saturday morning was meant for cartoons? We would wake up eager to turn on the TV and Veg out in front of the animated awesomeness of the day! Once a year they would run a half hour to an hour long preview of the upcoming new cartoons as well as the returning favorites. I remember sitting at my Friend Mike’s house and seeing the preview for Captain N: The Game Master....
Developers should follow Nintendo’s lead with 3DS titles and not put “3D” in the name of your game. It’s a little trendy and doesn’t get me any more excited for your game, but nearly 40% of the launch titles felt the need to include it in their name. It’s sort of like all the “…Revolution” games that came out when the Wii was released. I have t...
Here’s a single screenshot from the upcoming Castlevania Rebirth WiiWare title. It’s like Konami went back in time and colored my green and gray Game Boy memories.
Earlier this month we saw Contra ReBirth make it’s way to North America’s WiiWare service, and it looks like Konami’s not slowing down. From the ESRB website: Platform: Wii Rating: Teen Content descriptors: Animated Blood, Fantasy Violence Rating summary: This is a side-scrolling action game in which players battle against monsters in Dracula’s castle. Players use a chain...
This is a Japanese game made by a game developer called Frontier Aja. This is probably the closest we’ll ever get to seeing a traditional hard core Castlevania game ever again. The game has a tentative title which translates to “Scarlet symphony legendary Magic Castle Hongdo”. I only wish it was Konami endorsed since it looks so great in action. Watch a video after the jump.
