EA Tiger Woods 10 with Wii MotionPlus: Here’s my money, take it

Joystiq has some demo footage of an EA rep going through the motions in the upcoming Tiger Woods PGA Tour golf title for the Wii. Stress motions. Joystiq came away impressed. Basically, I can’t see myself playing a golf title on any other system going forward unless it has the kind of motion controls demonstrated here.

Excitebots launch trailer looks like Excite Truck

Some of these insect robots remind me of the ones Tom Hanks made fun of while working at MacMillan Toy Company in the movie Big. Does the hard-core gamer still matter?

Out of the top 20 selling games of 2008, less than half of them fit the profile of what type of game this MSNBC article considers appealing to the hard-core or serious gamer.  So I think the question shouldn’t be “can the Wii win back the hard-core gamer,” but rather “does the hard-core gamer still matter?” The article goes on to say that Nintendo’s original &#...

How do you feel about sandbox, open world, free roaming games?
