Super Smash Bros. 3DS Open Tournament
At E3 we were treated to a thrilling Super Smash Bros. tournament. Now it’s your turn to compete. The “Super Smash Bros. 3DS National U.S. Tournament” has officially been announced. The open tournament will be held on October 4th, one day after the release. 15 GameStop locations across the U.S. and the Nintendo World Store in New York City (see below for locations) will host the ...
Epona will be a weapon for Link in Hyrule Warriors DLC
Who thought this would ever happen. Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma took to Miiverse to state: “Beyond that, additional downloadable content will become available in Hyrule Warriors after the game launches. The first DLC pack, Master Quest Pack, will be released on October 16. The details of that pack will be revealed soon, but today, let me give you a sneak peak at an additional weapon. The new weapon...
Retro Redux: NES Quest – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II Report Card
I’ve been holding off on this report card because I kept thinking, “Just gotta get one more person to play it with me!” Well, I’m here to say I did get someone new to play it with me, and in the most unexpected way imaginable! I work a part-time job as an English tutor in a town about 20 miles away. I spend essentially all day in this little college town every Wednesday, bu...
Hyrule Warriors review: Will it hack’n’slash its way into your Wii U?
Hyrule Warriors was announced during the 18th December Nintendo Direct, and even when it was first shown I was skeptical. I mean, how could a series known for its exploration and puzzle solving, combined with excellent dungeon design, maintain the same atmosphere when some of the elements that make the Zelda series what it is are removed? Let’s find out! Hyrule Warriors is a unique collabora...
Infendo Game Night: Mario Kart 8 Tourney Results
“It wasn’t perfect, but it was fun!” Those are my words in a Miiverse post from this morning. It pretty much summarizes how Infendo’s first official game night went. I feel like I didn’t properly explain “game night” yesterday. It was Lewis’s idea for us to try to have one night a week to play games and chat via Skype, without the pressure of recordi...
Infendo Game Night: Mario Kart 8
There are many reasons why an official Infendo tournament in Mario Kart 8 should take place: for one thing, it is long overdue. For another, it gives myself and the other Infendo crew members an excuse to play games with each other and with readers like you! We actually managed to pick a time that works fairly well for all of us, and that time is tonight, Tuesday the 23rd, starting at 6:00PM Pacif...
Happy Birthday, old friend. Nintendo turns 125 today
Today is Nintendo’s 125th birthday. Time to celebrate. For many, we know the story of how a small Japanese hanafuda card company rose to prominence during the 1970s and 80s to become the gaming giant it is today. Fans and writers alike have seen the ups and downs the company has gone through, yet its characters and products still somehow resonate with the masses. It surely has been a wild ri...
Infendo Radio Episode 326: Forgotten Gems
Hey all! Welcome to episode 326 of Infendo Radio! In this episode, Harrison Milfeld, Colin Crompton, and myself talk about what we’ve been playing (Hyrule Warriors, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Fire Emblem: Awakening) and finish on a feature about obscure or forgotten, but great, games on past Nintendo systems. For those of us in North America, Colin provides a grea...
Retro Redux: NES Quest – You don’t just beat NES games…or do you?
I know it’s been a while since the last update on NES Quest and even longer since the last report card, so this post is long overdue! First, a (very) brief update: I never did get around to playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II with a friend again, so that’s why I’ve been holding off on a report card. But I have had the time to play StarTropics, which is, of course, single play...
Video: Animal Crossing outfits for Felynes in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
Back in July, Capcom confirmed that Link-inspired equipment would be included in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Now the developer has released a trailer showing off “outfits” for the player’s Felyne companions that resemble Isabelle and Resetti from the Animal Crossing series. They even make those distinctive Animal Cross...

First, released on September 19th, will be the Super Smash Bros. Edition 3DS XL. We have already seen glimpses of this, as it had been previously announced for the UK. Available in two colors, red and blue,...
