Analyst puts his E3 chips on Fox McCloud

It’s easy in poker. Just watch his eyes and call his bluff. There’s a problem when trying that with Michael Pachter, though. His eyes glow with unwavering confidence and intensity 24 hours a day. A gaming analyst with Wedbush Morgan Securities, Pachter spoke Friday with GameSpot about what to expect from the “big three” gaming companies at this year’s E3, Nintendo inc...

Final Fantasy IV The After Years [Trailer]

Tatsunoko Vs Capcom comes stateside. Will be playable at E3!

Did anyone expect this to happen? Thanks to Capcom’s long hard fight with all those companies that own the to the various Tatsunoko characters; we will now be getting Tatsunoko vs Capcom on our shores! As it was just confirmed in Nintendo power that Tatsunoko vs Capcom is coming stateside. We can pretty much expect to see the game playable at E3, and it probably is one of the two secret Capc...

Review – X-Men Origins:Wolverine [Wii]

Most video game and film enthusiasts have learned that a good movie does not always make a good game – in fact, as a rule almost all movies make bad games.  Unfortunately and unsurprisingly, X-Men Origins Wolverine on the Nintendo Wii is no exception.  It’s a prime example of the boring, uninspired, cookie-cutter and mediocre excuses for entertainment the vast majority of movie franc...

Bowser’s personal life shrouded in mystery

Over the last 20 years, you’ve chopped bridges from beneath his feet and dropped him into semifluid molten lava. You’ve spun him around by the tail and tossed him face-first into heavy explosives. And for the most part, Bowser has deserved all of it. Reflecting on how poorly we’ve treated Mario’s long-time arch nemesis, however, I’m reminded of something I learned a d...

I’m seriously doubting the new Tony Hawk controller

GameTrailers unveiled the new Tony Hawk peripheral controller, which is a life-size plastic skateboard with no wheels. I like the Balance Board for Shaun White Snowboarding. Didn’t like it so much on Skate It. So my reaction to the above image was a bit subdued. What do you think?

Infendo Contest reminder – win Punch-Out for Wii!

Infendo is giving away one copy of the upcoming Punch-Out for Wii.  To enter, send us a jpg of a Nintendo game re-imagined in the classic Atari 2600 box styles of yesteryear.  It can be any Nintendo game, but the box art should have that retro style of the late 70’s and early 80’s.  Do you have crazy photoshop skills?  They might help, but originality is key in this contest.

I’m really starting to like my DSi

The DSi is a fun device. I’m still not sure it’s worth $40 more than the DS Lite right now, since there really isn’t a killer-app for it. The best games can be played on any DS model, after all. And the exclusive DSi online store is still light on content. That said, I had fun browsing channels tonight before firing up Rhythm Heaven on the DSi’s slightly larger screens. I s...
