Madden NFL 10 art style for Wii looks hot

Faithful Infendo fan doughboy74 emailed us to say he’s not very keen on the new art style for the Wii version of Madden NFL 10, but a few of us in the office disagree.  Check out the shot above and let us know what you think!

New Game Get – change in schedule

New Game Get, which was regularly featured on Infendo every Sunday morning, will now be published on Mondays.  The article will collect all DS and Wii game releases, as well as WiiWare, DSiWare, Virtual Console games, and Rock Band & Guitar Hero DLC.  The mega-posts begin tomorrow!

Missed opportunity: DSi doesn’t play MP3 files

MP3 files easily account for the lion’s share of digital music. Apple iTune AAC files make up a lot too, but MP3 is still the majority, and you should really be buying from Amazon MP3 now if you aren’t already doing so. So you would think when designing the DSi to play music, Nintendo would support MP3 playback. But they don’t. DSi only supports AAC files. Bummer. Nintendo presid...

The Conduit coming June 23 to Wii

Sega on Thursday announced the official release date for The Conduit, the Halo knock-off shooter for Wii.  The game ships June 23, carries an MSRP of $50, and is rated teen. That is all.

Inspired, I thought it merited a post, but upon further investigation into where exactly the cake had come from, I found more… and more and more. There are so many Nintendo and Nintendo-character themed cakes, sweets and sn...

Grand Slam Tennis producer gushes over Wii MotionPlus

Nintendo’s first attempt at ushering in a new world of motion-controlled gaming was spearheaded by a sports title, Wii Sports, so I suppose it’s only fitting that round two, MotionPlus, will receive similar treatment. Funny thing is, it’s not going to be Nintendo that’s pushing the new peripheral into people’s homes. At least, not at first. Instead, the mantle has fal...

How do you feel about “Wii no Ma?”

Yesterday Nintendo opened up a new page for it’s forthcoming Wii Video Service Channel “Wii no Ma.” The channel, which will be released in Japan on May 1st, allows you to populate a room with up to eight Mii’s to live in a real time virtual life while you watch and rate original videos that are delivered through the Wii’s internet connection. But the “Wii no Ma&...

XSEED Sets Their Eyes on Fragile for the Wii

…Fragile, it’s a title that’s been requested many times before so we’re looking into it… – Ken @ XSEED Games

Wii Sports still causing (welcome) aches and pains

I had to check the dateline on this New York Times Wii article a few times to make sure my sister hadn’t accidentally emailed me an older article from days long gone, but no, this is from yesterday. And it describes a firsthand account of Wii elbow, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes. Basically, Wii Sports is alive and well. That’s great news, and completely unsurprising. ItR...
