When does gaming make you say wow?

As I was playing Wii Sports today getting in a little bowling action, I thought back to November 2006 when Wii was the hot new thing. Can you believe that it has been nearly 5 years since Nintendo unleashed motion controls onto the masses? The idea was so revolutionary that The Revolution was how we all came to know Wii….before Nintendo turned their console into a wiener joke of course. I ...

Code name for Ocarina 3D or new Zelda online game?

You tell me. Nintendo has a listing at ESRB for Zelda Universe, an “online” game. Incidentally, Zelda Universe is the name of Nintendo’s official Zelda website. Thoughts?

Triforce talks Zelda timeline

It has been confirmed previously that a Zelda timeline does in fact exist. Problem is, we probably won’t ever see it for ourselves according to friend of Infendo Triforce Johnson. According to Johnson, Nintendo feels that if the master timeline was revealed, it would take away from the mystique  of fra...

Miyamoto thinks it would be a good idea to remake A Link to the Past…do you?

The Guardian today has an insightful interview with Miyamoto up. What got my attention was the discussion of how a remake to A Link to the Past would be just fine by him. Are there any plans to adapt other older Nintendo games for the 3DS console? Not really. We would like to create more new titles. For example, this year we are making Super Mario 3D, but it’s not really a remake of [the Wii...

Which Zelda game has the most dungeons?

I’ve been replaying A Link to the Past on my new AGS-101. Great game for a great handheld. I couldn’t help but notice, however, there are a lot of dungeons, especially early in the game. Certainly more than recent DS Zeldas. That said, which Zelda game do you remember having the most dungeons? The fewest?

Ocarina of Time 3DS to have Boss Challenge mode

Worried that Ocarina of Time for 3DS will be nothing more than a port of a port when it releases this June? If so then tonight you can rest easy because along with updating the textures and character models, developer Grezz0 will also be introducing a Boss Challenge mode to Link’s first adventure in three dimensions. Not much else is known about the new mode, but any new content for a gam...

Overcoming gaming anger

Playing Steel Diver has got me thinking about a problem that some gamers undoubtedly tackle at times: frustration or flat-out rage. My brothers and I can’t play Super Smash Bros. Brawl together without screaming at each other at some point. Being the older, more mature one, I generally try to keep my cool, but the unpleasant feeling (like a flame in the gut) inevitably comes, whether I let i...

Zelda fans, get ready to Ocarina of Time….in 3D

The good folks over at Nintendo have today announced its Q2 lineup, and in it we learn when we will be enjoying Zelda on 3DS! Mark your calendars, because June 19th will be Ocarnina of Time day here in North America. Also announced is a new version of everyones favorite mini game collection Wii Play: Motion which includes….yeah you guessed it, a Wii Remote Plus to go along with 12 new motion...
