June 19 can’t come soon enough for Zelda fans, and some lucky folks have received early copies of the game. What are us less fortunate to do in the fortnight until then?! Taking a peak at these instruction booklet scans might help ease the pain! Now I have always been an instruction booklet reader, front to back. Looks like the fine folks at Zelda Dungeon will help me to get that done a bi...
In the latest edition of Iwata Asks, Satoru Iwata sits down with video game composers Koji Kondo and Mahito Yokota and talks about the soundtrack for the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo 3DS. As usual for Iwata Asks it is a very interesting read, but one part managed to grab my attention:
As I was playing Wii Sports today getting in a little bowling action, I thought back to November 2006 when Wii was the hot new thing. Can you believe that it has been nearly 5 years since Nintendo unleashed motion controls onto the masses? The idea was so revolutionary that The Revolution was how we all came to know Wii….before Nintendo turned their console into a wiener joke of course. I ...

You tell me. Nintendo has a listing at ESRB for Zelda Universe, an “online” game. Incidentally, Zelda Universe is the name of Nintendo’s official Zelda website. Thoughts?
It has been confirmed previously that a Zelda timeline does in fact exist. Problem is, we probably won’t ever see it for ourselves according to friend of Infendo Triforce Johnson. According to Johnson, Nintendo feels that if the master timeline was revealed, it would take away from the mystique  of fra...

The Guardian today has an insightful interview with Miyamoto up. What got my attention was the discussion of how a remake to A Link to the Past would be just fine by him. Are there any plans to adapt other older Nintendo games for the 3DS console? Not really. We would like to create more new titles. For example, this year we are making Super Mario 3D, but it’s not really a remake of [the Wii...
I’ve been replaying A Link to the Past on my new AGS-101. Great game for a great handheld. I couldn’t help but notice, however, there are a lot of dungeons, especially early in the game. Certainly more than recent DS Zeldas. That said, which Zelda game do you remember having the most dungeons? The fewest?

Worried that Ocarina of Time for 3DS will be nothing more than a port of a port when it releases this June? If so then tonight you can rest easy because along with updating the textures and character models, developer Grezz0 will also be introducing a Boss Challenge mode to Link’s first adventure in three dimensions. Not much else is known about the new mode, but any new content for a gam...
