Impressions: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Skyward Sword was one of the most polished titles available at Nintendo’s e3 booth, which is a relief to fans who remember the technical difficulties the title was experiencing at last year’s show. The Wii Motion Plus is absolutely essential to the titles gameplay. In the dungeon demo given at the show, Link faces off a...

It’s a bird! It’s a carp! The weirdest thing about Nintendo’s press conference

Remember that time when Nintendo showed an awkward trailer for Wii U that showed a bird flying around and carp jumping from the water? That was weird. That and the new crossbow controller looked pretty silly. Any other things about the conference that made you say WTF?

Microsoft at e3, how did they fare?

The Microsoft conference has come and gone and you know what? Their presser seemed very….Nintendo. The majority of titles at the Microsoft presser seemed to be geared toward the market Nintendo has worked so hard to capture the last couple of years. Also, there seemed to be a lack of any new IPs from Microsoft aside from some Kinect stuff. ?If I was a kid, a lot of the Kinect titles would be...

The EA e3 press conference, what does it all mean to the average Nintendo fan?

EA has given their press conference, and boy was it a doozie. Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3, and a new Insomniac title were all shown, but as a Nintendo console owner, what does it all mean to you? No mention of Nintendo was  given at the EA event today, but I have a sneaking suspicion they may be holding their final cards until Nintendo’s event tomorrow morning. Wouldn’t it be neat ...

Nintendo Co. has remained silent about just what the doodad will do, but gamers are anticipating features like high-definition graphics and touchscreen controllers. “What...

Just as the Wii is seriously cooling down, Game Informer reports, citing multiple sources, that Nintendo will announce a “competitive” HD console at E3 “this summer, if not sooner.” From the report: In fact, Nintendo is already showing publishers the system in an effort to get them interested and allow them plenty of time to start developing titles in anticipation of the sy...
