Overheard at e3: GTA inbound for Cafe.

All the buzz this morning is about a Grand Theft Auto title being released for Project Cafe at the Nintendo press conference this morning. GTA V Cafe anyone? Stay tuned to Infendo to find out!

  1. i don’t like gta, but it would be great for it to come to it.

  2. I think this might be one of those “I think it’d be cool if…” moments that Miyamoto always does.

Iwata said that GTA was one of those “must play” games of … ever, and so…here comes a GTA game!

I’m not a huge fan of the games, to be brutally honest, though. I mean, it’s fun, but most of the fun comes from running over pedestrians….and that could be a downloadable game…

  3. I love the music in this series paired with just cruising and exploring.

I miss the stat rpg elements that were great in San Andreas.

GTA 4 was kind of lame…

  4. * Insert ‘Hot Cafe’ joke here *

  5. Honestly, as much as I LOVE the free-roam of the new GTA games (GTA 2 and before was really just all about driving like a maniac than anything else), and as much as I love how the physics in 4 made the chaos THAT much more awesome: What I love most about it is that Rockstar are made up of AWESOME writers.

If GTA becomes a success on the new console, Rockstar may be more keen to releasing their other awesome titles and new ones on it. 🙂 I mean seriously, who DIDN’T enjoy Red Dead Redemption? Scenery. Story. Action. Freedom. All rolled into a beautiful game.

…and currently I’m enjoying LA Noir. 😀 So… more Rockstar love!!!

  6. If Nintendo gets the western developers on their side, the only thing that PS3/Xbox will have to their name is the console-exclusives. xD

  7. i do like gta… but it wouldnt sell a console for me

  8. Lots of “hardcore” games are inbound on the WiiU!
