Nintendo Direct 2.13.14 Announcement: Little Mac punches in to Smash Bros. 4

The first and arguably biggest announcement made during today’s Nintendo Direct was the inclusion of Little Mac in the Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS roster. Little Mac’s first and most revered appearance to the video game world was in Punch Out!! for the NES, in which the player controls him to take out various opponents in boxing matches. He was included as an assist trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but he has now been upgraded to playable character for the Wii U and 3DS entries in the series. Personally, I consider him an excellent choice for the role. How about you?

In addition to being a girl gamer, Holly prides herself on being a red-head. Consequently, the blue shell in the Mario Kart series is her natural enemy. Don't worry, though: she still loves Mario Kart and is very good, despite the occasional blue shell-sabotaged race. Like any Nintendo fan, Holly also loves Zelda, Pokemon, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, name it. But she'll try just about anything (besides horror games) and has a soft spot for unique, little-known rhythm games like Rhythm Heaven and Samba de Amigo. NNID: Aeroweth
