This was the game I was most eagerly anticipating and it didn’t disappoint. The demo consisted of two playable characters Link and Zelda, the difference between the characters was greater than expected as Link has his traditional sword and shield fighting style which is more direct, focusing on quick strikes. Zelda on the other hand, has a wider range, but her attacks are generally weaker. E...
This is the second part of a series of impressions from my trip to Nintendo’s Post E3 even in London. You can check out part one here. Following on from the experimental experience that was Project Guard, the next logical place to check out was the neighbouring demo unit for Project Giant Robot. I’ll admit I didn’t have high expectations for this one. Like Project Guard there i...

While sifting through the tips we get emailed to us from Infendo readers, I was intrigued by the subject line of one I received this morning: Masahiro Sakurai LEGEND Poster. I immediately clicked and was enthralled by artist Joshua Redfearn’s attached images, which are a tribute to famed Super Smash Bros. designer Masahiro Sakurai. Titled “LEGEND,” Redfearn’s poster...
In a strange turn of events Square-Enix has announced the MMO based Dragon Quest X is coming to Nintendo’s latest handheld in September. The 3DS version will connect seamlessly with the PC, Wii and Wii U versions. There is still no word of a western release but hopefully Square-Enix will grace us with a localized version soon. How do you feel about a MMO on a 3DS? Let me know in the comments...
Jake Kaufman, music composer for games like Shovel Knight and Mighty Switch Force!, is getting to be quite well-known, and for good reason. Shovel Knight was recently released on the eShop for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and in addition to being very well received, the game has an amazing chiptune soundtrack that you can download right over here on Jake’s Bandcamp page. I haven’t play...
As one might expect from a game that’s just $1.99 on the Wii U eShop, Poker Dice Solitaire Future has a simple premise. The first in the Tabletop Gallery series from one-man development team RCMADIAX, the game has the player roll five dice to create Poker-style hands (2-pair, full house and the like) for a high score. The dice can be rolled up to three times, and the player can choose to hol...
This past Friday me and Lewis traveled to London to attend the Post E3 event. So over the next few days I will be posting a series of articles with my impressions of what I played. First up we have Splatoon. For anyone that doesn’t know the objective of this game is to cover as much ground (no points are scored for walls) in your teams colour as possible and the team with the most ground cov...
This Friday myself and Colin made our way up to Nintendo’s Post E3 press event in London, where we got to play many of their coming games. The event itself was open for 3 hours and the venue was decked out with Splatoon ink splaterings. Of course we were there from opening to close making sure we got as much time in as possible with Nintendo’s very latest. When inside, the first game I...
Welcome all to episode 315 of Infendo Radio! In this episode, Lewis Pugh, Harrison Milfeld, Colin Crompton, and myself (Holly Fellmeth) return to our usual 3-part structure and discuss what we’ve been playing (Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Pushmo/Pullblox World, and more Mario Kart), Nintendo news (N64 games on Wii U virtual console, Capcom up for sale, and more), and end with our feature: the ...
Since the first installment of Final Fantasy was released, I was hooked on the adventure, trials, and tribulations that the characters experienced upon their journeys. As a writer, I tend to focus on horror as a genre, but I always wanted to write an adventure tale. Final Reverie is the product of that desire. In substance, it pays tribute to the early Final Fantasy games and hints at a previou...
