All you can really say here is that Bioware is developing a new RPG for the DS starring Sonic the Hedgehog. It’s expected to come out in 2008. Also, it boggles the imagination. Is Sonic really RPG material?
At least one of the Legion Of Infendo must have bought the DS browser. Please Email us at [email protected] with a photo or YouTube video link of Infendo being browsed on the official Nintendo DS Web Browser. You’ll win bragging rights and a hearty virtual pat on the back! UPDATE: The big virtual pat on the back goes to Axel S. from Toronto, Canada! He sent us this picture. Thanks, Axel! Ever...
I’ve said that headline about a thousand times this month alone, but now it would seem the mainstream press is starting to say it too. Well, PC Magazine columnist Lance Ulanoff is anyway. In a column today, Ulanoff channels my inner fanboy to do a comparison between the year’s runaway success — the Wii (and Nintendo as a whole, for that matter) — and its utter failure, the ...
Scott Johnson of Extra Life fame is both a personal hero and a father of mine. No, wait, that didn’t come out right. He’s a father-figure. He’s fatherly. Ish. And he looks like Curt Schilling without all that, what’s the word… fat. He’s also a damn fine artist to boot, and today’s Extra Life comic is a gem from the world of Mario. Why someone hasn’t ...

Sometimes when I read articles over at Gamasutra I feel like I’ve accidentally stumbled onto the campus of M.I.T. here in Boston much like Matt Damon’s troubled character did in Good Will Hunting. Only unlike Matt, when I step in front of that chalkboard, I draw silly little pictures of cartoon animals, because I never took Calculus and math is more of a foreign language to me than Jap...
Fits nice. Target has a pretty good collection of geeky Nintendo-themed hats on the cheap. Maybe they’d like to buy some advertising (I apologize for the camera phone quality).
The Manhunt 2 controversy grows ever deeper today. Nintendo and Sony have come together as unlikely allies to ban the game from appearing on their consoles should it retain the cooties-ridden AO ESRB rating that now resides on its shiny new case. GameSpot says Manhunt 2 and its glass shard to the head theatrics will not be on a Nintendo or Sony system unless the rating is lowered to the much more ...
The rest of the Infendo staff had their fun today with contest winners and near-perfect Zelda Famitsu scores and Tesla coils — but not me. I’m into numbers and net worth and things with commas separating tens, hundreds and thousands. So when I heard about what Nintendo accomplished today, I nearly fell over and hit my head on the solid mahogany desk that all Infendo writers get for the...
1UP reports that Zelda: Phantom Hourglass has scored a near-perfect 39/40 review score in Japan (Famitsu). Three reviewers gave the game a 10 while a lone fourth one gave it a nine. From the review: It is so easy to pick up! There have been many games using the stylus, but this one didn’t feel frustrating for the most part… The way it allows players to use the unique features of the DS...
After reading our story about Wendy’s Frosty “Float your way to a Wii” contest, our faithful reader and forum member jholdaway had this to say on our forum: “Thanks to infendo’s tip to visit http://www.frostyfloat.com/index.tbapp? ”¦ rnate_form I am very VERY happy today.” He then posted a screencapture of the e-mail he recieved from Wendy’s yesterday morn...
Flickr user Galdius takes a doozie of a picture: Pikmin exploring a moistened jungle (or someone’s backyard).
