Real testosterone out muscles poseurs as Wii Fit approaches #2 game of the decade

Halo, GTA and other kill them before they kill you fare may boast an aggressive, testosterone-laden affair, but in reality the experience is skin deep. Real men and women play Wii Fit, it seems, and the sales confirm that in spades.

At 15, Donkey Kong Country has aged well

With an itch to play some oldies, I downloaded Donkey Kong Country on Virtual Console over the weekend. Man has this game aged well. It’s awesomeness is three fold: Big jumps, superb sound, and enemies that are fun to stomp on. It’s just as entertaining today as it was in 1994. If that’s what some critics call overrated, I’ll gladly take it. Just know that Donkey Kong Count...

Get your Blob on with New Game Get

The more interesting looking games out this week include A Boy & His Blob, Ju-on: The Grudge, and Mario & Sonic at the Winter Games. Even though Wii owners can’t get Brutal Legend, there’s a Rock Band track pack available this week.

Reggie Says Sony PSP Go is “Fundamentally Flawed”

Good ol’ Reggie. He recently spoke out concerning the new PSP Go, the new hand-held recently released by Sony as an effort to make the transition to digital download and content. (The PSP Go may have a) fundamental concept problem in terms of ”˜Who’s it for?’ and ”˜What’s the benefit?’ I have the utmost respect for all our competitors, but it’s interesting to tr...

Is it a “classic” controller if the wire awkwardly stems from the bottom?

Answer: No. The leash on Classic Controller should really be attached to the Wii Remote from the top, not the bottom, which can be a nusance. By no means a showstopper, but poor design just the same. That is all.

Poll – favorite Nintendo characters of the 21st century

Thinking about all of the Nintendo characters, some are synonymous with video games in general.  Donkey Kong, Zelda, Mario, and even Pokemon are some of the most recognizable series out there.  Lucky for us, Nintendo keeps trying to introduce new faces into the growing family of characters.  Since the year 2001, with the introduction of the Game Boy Advance and the GameCube, there have been som...

These Squeeballs need a good Home

These little fellows have had a harsh life at the Squeeballs testing island. Many of you must be like ‘What is a Squeeball?” Well a Squeeball is an animal that is apparently sold in stores as toys. Yet before they can be a toy they must go through a rigorous test to assure that they are top a top quality product. That means being grinded up in a meat grinder, being hit by a tennis rack...

Did you know about the Secret Soldier?

If I would of found this anytime I played the game I would of been really upset. I don’t think anyone every really died in a Zelda game before; besides Ganondorf and a whole bunch of monsters and bosses. According to this video if you run in the back alley after you acquire the Ocarina of Time, you will encounter this soldier. It’s strange that no one has ever really talked about this&...

Dear Nintendo: Canadians Don’t Weigh Themselves in Metric

So, I picked up Wii Fit Plus the day after it came out, and while the full review is coming next week, I have a beef now that I figured I would let people know about. If your Wii’s location is set to Canada (like me), Wii Fit Plus has decided that you measure everything in metric. Lets face it, North America uses the Imperial system for day-to-day measurements, especially things like weight ...
