As the battle over who’s going to corner the market on motion controls continues to heat up, and companies beat their chests again over how it’s going to be the more powerful setup that will win the day, I couldn’t help but think that it’s going to be something incredibly simple (and old) that’s really going to be the deciding factor. Naturally, this simple thing was ...

The figure is hand crafted from scratch and sculpted in Castilene. Which was then molded in Smooth-On silicone rubber then cased in Smooth-On resin. Hand painted with Tamiya Acrylics and featuers 25 Points-of-Articulation. This is an amazing reproduction of the bounty huntress, Samus Aran, if I do say so myself. [Via Red3183 Deviant Art]
Nintendo games are about to get a whole lot easier. In an interview with USA Today, chief creative designer Shigeru Miyamoto announced that the upcoming New Super Mario Bros. Wii would be the first game to support an optional auto-pilot mode to bypass difficult parts of a game.
In an interview with Wired, Nintendo’s killer-app had this to say about motion control finally becoming the industry standard: “Looking at what the other companies have shown here at E3, it feels like they have finally obtained the very basic technology for doing motion control, but… I don’t think I could create an experience that truly feels interactive if you don’t ...

Ghostbusters news has been pretty focused on the Xbox/PS3 versions of the game as of late, so for those of you hankering for some content to oogle on the Nintendo side, here’s your chance! This “first twenty minutes” video will take you through a short intro, a small tour of the firehouse, and show off some gameplay in the first mission. Head past the break for part 2.
A short clip of a television show in Japan that focuses on tough video games. This is a clip from an episode dealing with Mother a Japanese only title which sequel was released in the US as Earthbound on the Super Nintendo. Anyway it’s a bit weird and quirky, but kind of funny. [Thanks Jake]
It seems the guys who pulled off the really successful Mario Marathon for Child’s Play are at it again! They plan to play through all the US released Super Mario games again, from start to finish, no skipping around. That means over 500 different levels, lots of mushrooms, and lots of stars. All starting on July 10th and will be lasting days. They will be giving out prizes in the form of a r...
