In my quiet little town, I moseyed over to grab a copy of Pokemon Black this morning and joined a line of Nintendo fans of all ages and backgrounds–kids, college students, parents, military–all in a great mood and all speculating about just how much cash Nintendo was raking in today.
The doors opened to a relatively well-behaved stampede as two young women at the registers kept things orderly and organized with smiles and professionalism.
I snapped this photo as I left. I guess this is Nintendo’s response to folks like me who wonder why they don’t take a chance and change up the Pokemon formula.
No matter what you think about Pokemon, doesn’t a sight like this just make you smile?

I thought TRU had the best deal with B&W. Both of my sons pre-ordered so at pick up today they got their wall clings. Also all DS games were BOGO 1/2 off plus you got a free legendary stylus, cloth and gamecase pack with each purchase. I thought that was a pretty good deal.

Very cool. I should have go on over to my local GameSpot and checked out if there was a line. Oh well, too late now. But I’m sure in 3 Sundays there will be a line and I will be in it to pickup my 3DS! 😀

That’s a very nice GameStop. And look at that line! A fine group of gamers of many different age groups.

Yeah, I was going to say the same! What a nice-looking GameStop! What town is that??
