New Pokemon And A Developer That Wants To Keep His Job

We are in the midst of an exciting time in the Nintendo Reign.  The 3DS is dominating, the Wii U will release soon, Rumors are keeping everybody on their toes and the confirmations are even more exciting…well, most of them.  Everybody has been asking what the successor to Black and White 2 will be, many are hoping it will be a massive Pokemon RPG.

Unfortunately, it seems that the next big Pokemon game will actually teach us how to type.  Pokemon: Typing Adventure will be pre-packaged with the Nintendo Wireless Keyboard, and will be compatible with the DS and 3DS consoles, including XL.

In teh game, you will take the role as a member of the Elite Typists Club.  As you research the over 400 Pokemon, you will also be tested on your typing abilities.  Part of your task will be to accurately type the names of the many Pokemon as you help Professor Quentin Werty and his assistant Paige Down with research.  On the upside, you can expect to encounter Reshiram, and Zekrom, along with other rare Pokemon.

In other news, it seems that the saying “loose lips sink ships”, is sailing around at Vigil Games.  In a recent interview with Ben Cureton, he was asked about the Wii U version of Darksiders.  Below is his response.

“Can you tell us anything about the Wii U version at all?”

“I can’t say anything about the Wii U. I don’t want to get fired!”

I am actually okay with his answer.  How many times have we heard something from a developer, or random employee of a developer that turned out to be false, or was true but was changed before launch.  Instead of starting rumors, he just decided not to talk.

What are your thoughts on The newest Pokemon game and the tight lips at Vigil?
