Over at WiiFanboy, they have a sweet 55 second video of the new Crystal Chronicles game for Wii. And it has airships! With videos like this and the recent ones for Harry Potter and Mario Galaxy, Wii is starting to look rather pretty. Does The Crystal Bearers look good to you?

Glitch in Donkey Kong Country 2 for the Virtual Console?

Donkey Kong and Infendo fan, Andrew, has already finished playing the SNES classic Donkey Kong Country 2 on his Wii and had this to say about the Virtual Console title: Earlier today, I beat it, but I noticed something wrong that’s pretty disheartening. In the SNES version of the game, finding every bonus level would net you a completion percentage of 102% when you beat the game. I found eve...

Nintendo shows little at its Media Summit

Nintendo lifted unnecessary embargos on a paltry showing of games at this week’s Media Summit in Seattle. I wasn’t expecting much and it sure ended up that way according to the internets. But fear not Infendoites, the little that was shown sounds promising, particularly Mario Strikers Charged (Wii), Brain Age 2 (DS), and The Bigs (Wii). The best news from what I can tell is that Ninten...

Harry Potter Wii graphics do not disappoint

What can I say? This thing looks really good. Best looking game on Wii perhaps? Call it EA redemption for the slew of poopsky looking games to date. And though not identicle to the more powerful 360 and PS3, I’d argue the above lessens the gap. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix hits Wii on June 25. [via Definitive Speculation]

Nintendo through the Ages (and Colors)

Color Lovers examine Nintendo colors through the ages. It’s a pretty cool little piece contrasting the differences from the NES to Wii. Excerpt: “While controllers have seemingly become just more complicated and the games just the same, what’s been interesting to watch is the evolution of graphics over gameplay, specifically with Nintendo, the longest running console manufacturer...

Assassin’s Creed on Wii “Totally out of the question”

Assassin’s Creed, one of my most anticipated games of the year, just lost any chance it had (if any) at making its way onto Wii. Said producer Jade Raymond in speaking to Game Informer, “[A Wii version] is totally out of the question. You would have to change the gameplay completely. Our mandate was to deliver a game that wouldn’t be possible on a previous system… gameplay ...

There are gobs of promising Wii games coming

The recent July issue of Nintendo Power is the best issue I’ve read since first resubscribing a year ago. The thing is packed to the gills with promising Wii games and pretty much kills the conventional wisdom that Wii is only good for party-games. Granted, announcements and previews do not a great final game make, but I’m giddy at the prospects of all the games profiled. Says Managing...

Wii Tennis – One man doubles

Infendo Radio’s own Fesworks likes to play Wii Sports Tennis so much he plays with both hands: [Thanks for sharing this in the Forums, Fesworks!]

High Scores

What game have you posted your best score on? I’ve never been much of a “play for high score” kind of guy except while playing Dr. Mario. Even then I’m sure it was only in the low 100,000s or something. You?

Famitsu lauds RE4 Wii Edition with high marks

IGN is reporting that Famitsu magazine likies Resident Evil 4 on Wii. Like, likie a lot. The reviewers noted that while the content is almost the same as the GameCube original, the direct Wiimote-based controls offer a plus, making the game feel like something fresh and different. One reviewer said that the game offers the feeling of being closer to the action as well as upping the tension… ...
