Live in the New York area? Don’t live in the New York area but want your shot at one of the first legitimate pre-order offers to hit the street? Then, by all means, go to New York City!
Engadget is reporting that the Nintendo World Store in Manhattan is taking preorders for $50 a piece. There are roughy 100-300 slots total, but that was as of Saturday night and the store has been taking the orders since Thursday.
If you can’t make NYC, there’s some solace in the fact that because of Nintendo’s almost German-like methodical approach to manufacturing Wii consoles, there shoudn’t be any trouble waiting in an 8 hour line at a Best Buy at 12:01 a.m. November 19.
