…or so said Mark Rein of Epic Games. Speaking at GDC, Rein says that the Wii U version of Arkham City would not be just a straight port of the already released, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions of the game. In fact, the game uses “fantastic use of the touch controller.”
Rein declined to clarify exactly how that would be, but it seems as if it could make fantastic use of the tech. Wii U detective mode anyone? Perhaps interactive Wii U cryptographic sequencer? Who knows! All I can say is that Batman: Arkham City is on my must have lists for Wii U, despite already have beaten it on other consoles.
What ideas would you like to see implemented in the Wii U version of the game? Will you purchase the game again (or for the first time) on Wii U? Let us know!

I plan on buying it, I have never played it. I’m a college student that decided (for the best) not to bring a console to school with me and the 3ds has kept me entertained, however I have a giant list of games that I need to play and might as well support 3rd parties on the Wii U.

No Unreal Engine Support for 3DS?
The “quick video” link from the Shacknews source page shows Epic’s GDC video and the platforms that Unreal will be on, and I am extremely disappointed that I do not see the Nintendo 3DS on there. It shows support for Adobe Flash, Mac OS, Windows/PC, XBOX 360, PS3, Wii U, Apple iOS, PS Vita, & Android. If Unreal Engine can run on iOS, Android, & Flash, it should certainly be able to run on the Nintendo 3DS. Can someone, anyone, ask Mark Rein about Unreal Engine support for the Nintendo 3DS? Please & Thank you.
