Although this is officially the “Year of Luigi”, it appears that the Pokemon Company is smitten with 2013 as well. In fact, They have stated that the next twelve months will one of the biggest years in Pokemon History!
The Pokemon company is excited to launch multiple Pokemon titles, a new television series, various Poke-themed events, a new movie, and a new line of toys this year. Oh, and we cannot forget to mention the highly anticipated Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.
Anthony Cornish, The Pokemon Company’s Marketing Director, had the following to say to My Nintendo News about the action packed year:
“Undoubtedly 2013 is a key year for us to grow and usher in a new era for Pokémon with Pokémon X and Pokémon Y and the introduction of new characters as the launch platform. We believe these games will appeal to all generations both veterans and newcomers to Pokémon.”
