Nintendo employees generate $1.6 million… EACH

sure hope Nintendo treats its employees well this holiday season. Why? Because each Nintendo employee is set to generate $1.6 million for the company this year. That’s great on a number of levels for Nintendo.

First off, it gives them lots of money, that’s obvious. But more importantly, it allows them to leverage that cash (and those happy employees) into new technologies and games that less lucrative and less flexible companies would pass up because they’re “too risky.” In short, it allows for greater and more mature innovation. That’s good for us, the consumers.

Now, I realize those former Retro boys were 2nd party, and not *technically* a part of this fine accomplishment, but I still have to say this morning: What were you thinking? Just kidding, I’m sure we’ll see something special out of Armature Studio.
