Our friends over at Pure Nintendo have posted sound clips of the Wii U’s boot up music, alongside other dandy jingles that will accompany you when tinkering with the console’s Mii Maker and various menus. The sound clips were provided by the fine folks at ZeldaPower.com, and so far the sampled Wii U clips offer a cheerful, yet soothing experience. You can listen to a sample of the Wii U’s Mii Maker menu above and the rest here. Enjoy!

Harrison Milfeld is a writer, editor, and freelance journalist from Missouri. Ever since he could walk, Harrison has been an avid fan of the world of Nintendo. For years, he has purchased every one of the company's subsequent products (yes, including the Virtual Boy and eReader). It wasn't until he was a young teen when he bought a PS2 that he began to embrace cross-console relations, a decision he doesn't regret. When he's not gaming, Harrison is looking to break into the magazine journalism industry and realize his dream of becoming a features reporter.

  2. Something about Nintendo muzak totally puts a smile on my face, love it.

  3. I thought we were past that MIDI crap. I love me some good ol’ retro tunes, but come on, this is corny.

  4. Reminds me of Mario water levels music
