Jay Fitzloff on Wii U: We are blazing the trail with what we are going to do.

Darksiders was a game that admittedly borrowed a lot from the Zelda franchise, and according to Vigil Games producer Jay Fitzloff, when the games sequel ships for Wii U, the game will take advantage of the unique controls of the console. In other news, the Darksiders II will be a Wii U launch title. Well, that’s one game accounted for on my Wii U must have list.

Darksiders II will take place in the same time period as the first game, but instead of controlling War, the Horseman Death will be playable instead. Apparently the game will start at the exact same time as the start of the first game, giving players control of Death as he defies the Council’s orders and sets out to prove War’s innocence.

I really enjoyed the original game, and look forward to continuing my adventure through Darksiders II. If you have played the first game, are you excited for the sequel? If you haven’t, do you plan on picking this game up when it drops for Wii U? Let us know in the comments below!
