9 Episodic gaming: Tales From Monkey Island and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
Last year was the fairly decent episodic Strong Bad game for WiiWare, but this year the concept really took off. Both Monkey Island and Final Fantasy really honed the concept of releasing a game in parts and made them both shine.
