DJ Hero commercials love French duo bands

TV sports for DJ Hero have begun circulating, and they look pretty hot. The first features a mashup of Daft Punk’s Around the World and TV Rules the Nation. The second features a versus mix of Justice and Public Enemy. Savvy Infendo readers will know that both Daft Punk and Justice are French duos with deft hands in producing big beats. Public Enemy is of course… well, you know public enemy.

Enough about the music, what about the game? I’ve had a chance to demo five tracks from the game. Two were really fun. The other three were sorta boring (neither Daft Punk, Public Enemy, nor Justice are on the demo). Since all tracks are mashups, I fear DJ Hero’s setlist is more lacking than previous unadulterated Guitar Hero tracks. Not that I don’t like mashup tracks, just that they’re harder to pull off. As a part-time turntablist, I’m still anxious for the game’s Oct. 27 release. You?
