Even during the hustle and bustle of E3, this lady found the time to play a little Brain Age on the DS. Nice shot!
The Japanese version of the previously mentioned Official Smash Brothers site has posted a section where users can submit an idea or suggestion for characters and music that they’d like added to the game, as well as a general contribution letter. There is also a section to view other people’s input in which it seems that game director Masashiro Sakurai actually responds to about one in...
61% believe the Wii name means nothing without the playable games (out of 867 votes). As last week’s E3 showed us, playing really is believing, it’s just up to Nintendo and third-party developers to deliver the goods in high numbers come this Q4 and beyond. Thanks for all that voted. This week’s poll: Grade Nintendo’s E3 presence A B C D F

New Super Mario Bros. is getting some mad love from reviewers. At the time of writing, the game had an average score of 95%. From a sample review: “As pure a game as you could ever wish to play. Adrenaline, frustration, addiction and the largest hunk of retro gaming pleasure that you could purchase. If you own a DS, and you don’t even give this a chance, you might as well get your cons...
French Blog Mc Chicken has a blog post with a hopefully photoshoped image of a horrifying looking Mario without a moustache. What’s scary is that while the picture actually makes Mario look a little bit more like a real person, the lack of a his moustache is so jarring, it’s almost hard to look at for more than a minute or so.
Finding out that Nintendo had a new website just for Japanese cellphones made me pretty excited as I turned on my cellphone’s camera to photograph the barcode on Nintendo Mobile’s information site. As I snapped the barcode my cellphone was taken to this rather boring web page where I could download Kirby, Zelda, and Animal Crossing wallpaper and ringtones, and read some information abo...

Melee, which could only be in Japanese at the time. So far the website doesn’t have much that hasn’t alre...

For the record, you’re on a Nintendo fan site. Even still, the most impressive thing at this year’s E3 was Wii. Today I was at the front of the line waiting to get in the expo. Once 9am hit, hundreds of people and media rushed right to Nintendo’s booth. They were freakin’ running like crazy. They weren’t rushing to see the PS3, they weren’t rushing to see 360. T...
Joystiq interviewed Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto. When asked about playing non-Nintendo hardware at E3, Shiggy replied: “I actually haven’t had a chance to even be out on the show floor so I don’t even know what’s available to play. Although I do want to see how Sony’s little sensor is working. (Laughs)” Follow the link for the full interview.
E3 impressions from my bird’s eye view. Super Smash Bros Brawl– The trailer starts with an incredible score and Link, Mario, Pikachu, and Kirby transforming from their GameCube polygonal bodies into their Wii-tastic detailed character models. Pit, Metaknight, Samus, and Wario soon join the fray. Interestingly, when Snake comes in, his typical Snake humor fits perfectly with Smash Bros&...
