Finding out that Nintendo had a new website just for Japanese cellphones made me pretty excited as I turned on my cellphone’s camera to photograph the barcode on Nintendo Mobile’s information site. As I snapped the barcode my cellphone was taken to this rather boring web page where I could download Kirby, Zelda, and Animal Crossing wallpaper and ringtones, and read some information about current DS releases. I guess in order for Nintendo to sell its portable gaming systems it really can’t offer much in the way of actual games on Japanese cellphones, even though most of them are probably capable enough to run any GBA game. Maybe some indipendent coder will release an NES emulator like yew-soft did a while back.
