2012 is evolving into a fantastic year for Pokemon fans. Not only will Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 be launched, but two new games will be launched for the 3DS in the fall. Pokemon Dream Radar allows players to take full advantage of what the 3DS has to offer. Features such as the motion control, 3D camera, and augmented reality will be used to help capture Pokemon. To catch the Pokemon, ...
Ladies and Gentlemen, Mario Kart 7 has been patched. Head over to eShop to download the game update, which fixes the shortcut issues in Maka Wuhu, Wuhu Island Loop, and Bowser Castle 1 (I didn’t know about that last one). Note that the patch will not become mandatory for online play until May 16th, so we’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the new cheat-free environment to really take e...

Nintendo of America has shared some great news for fans of Pikmin and Mario Tennis! On June 10th, 2012 NoA will release Pikmin 2 and Mario Power tennis for the Wii as part of their “Nintendo Selects” line of games. Both of the classic games will be available for the low price of $19.99. Nintendo also announced that Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Donkey Kong Country will now sell for the...
Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 is a strange specimen when it comes to Pokémon releases. Never before has there been a direct sequel to a Pokémon title, and even stranger still, the game will be released for Nintendo’s last generation handheld the DS. According to Japanese magazine CoroCoro, there is certainly a lot to be excited about in this year’s new Pokémon title, even if the game is ...
Masahiro Sakurai, creator of Smash Bros., Kirby, and Kid Icarus: Uprising, was caught sneaking into Platinum Games, developer of Bayonetta, MadWorld, and the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Although, “caught” might be the wrong word to use in this case, considering that Sakurai shared a photo of his location (seen above) via his Twitter account. Nothing else was revealed about...
Nintendo has announced that it will shut down the Spot TV service (Itsu no Ma ni Terebi) on June 20th 2012, almost one year to the date of the original launch. Spot TV is currently available on Spot Pass and allows gamers to watch free original programming in 3D. Nintendo has not given a reason for the cancellation of the service. Spot TV was only available in Japan, but I would loved to have se...
It seems that every generation has a series of consoles that battle over gaming dominance. Probably the greatest was Nintendo VS Sega. I actually loved both systems equally, but always leaned a little towards Nintendo. At times the NES/Sega battle got pretty intense with advertisements such as the one pictured above. At the time it was great seeing them battle it out because new and exciting gam...
Shmowzow! It looks like it’s pretty official now – there’s an Adventure Time video game coming to the 3DS and DS this Fall, as confirmed by the press release posted on the Frederator Studios blog. Creator of the wildly popular cartoon series, Pendleton Ward, announced the game less-than-officially on his Twitter account a couple months ago, but it’s nevertheless reassuring to finally see a proper ...
There is something to be said about fans getting what they deserve. Looks like I’m not the only one who enjoyed my time with Xenoblade Chronicles, because according to Gamasutra it was the third best selling game of last month. This is major victory for those of us that enjoy a well made, lengthy RPG from time to time, and hopefully enough incentive for Nintendo of America to keep the good times r...
You might have seen this video on G4TV, But I thought it was worth sharing. Youtuber Shanesdominoez paid tribute to our favorite gaming system by setting up 30,000 dominoes in a Nintendo themed chain reaction. What are your thoughts?
