Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 is a strange specimen when it comes to Pokémon releases. Never before has there been a direct sequel to a Pokémon title, and even stranger still, the game will be released for Nintendo’s last generation handheld the DS. According to Japanese magazine CoroCoro, there is certainly a lot to be excited about in this year’s new Pokémon title, even if the game is ...
Masahiro Sakurai, creator of Smash Bros., Kirby, and Kid Icarus: Uprising, was caught sneaking into Platinum Games, developer of Bayonetta, MadWorld, and the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Although, “caught” might be the wrong word to use in this case, considering that Sakurai shared a photo of his location (seen above) via his Twitter account. Nothing else was revealed about...
Nintendo has announced that it will shut down the Spot TV service (Itsu no Ma ni Terebi) on June 20th 2012, almost one year to the date of the original launch. Spot TV is currently available on Spot Pass and allows gamers to watch free original programming in 3D. Nintendo has not given a reason for the cancellation of the service. Spot TV was only available in Japan, but I would loved to have se...
It seems that every generation has a series of consoles that battle over gaming dominance. Probably the greatest was Nintendo VS Sega. I actually loved both systems equally, but always leaned a little towards Nintendo. At times the NES/Sega battle got pretty intense with advertisements such as the one pictured above. At the time it was great seeing them battle it out because new and exciting gam...
Shmowzow! It looks like it’s pretty official now – there’s an Adventure Time video game coming to the 3DS and DS this Fall, as confirmed by the press release posted on the Frederator Studios blog. Creator of the wildly popular cartoon series, Pendleton Ward, announced the game less-than-officially on his Twitter account a couple months ago, but it’s nevertheless reassuring to finally see a proper ...
There is something to be said about fans getting what they deserve. Looks like I’m not the only one who enjoyed my time with Xenoblade Chronicles, because according to Gamasutra it was the third best selling game of last month. This is major victory for those of us that enjoy a well made, lengthy RPG from time to time, and hopefully enough incentive for Nintendo of America to keep the good times r...
You might have seen this video on G4TV, But I thought it was worth sharing. Youtuber Shanesdominoez paid tribute to our favorite gaming system by setting up 30,000 dominoes in a Nintendo themed chain reaction. What are your thoughts?
The Blockbuster UK Outlets seem to have listed a series of Wii U launch titles in their Point of Sale systems. There are 25 titles in all. If this is a legitimate list, what are your thoughts? Could this list just be filler to set the place setting in their system? Just in case you cannot read the screen shots above, i have included the list below:
A Neogaf user recently posted a patent drawing that shows what appears to be a charging dock for the Wii U controller. Judging from the patent, the design would work in the same fashion as the Nintendo 3DS charging dock. In addition, the design of the Wii U controller looks unchanged from the version we were introduced to at E3 2011. No surprise, but Nintendo could easily make some alterations. So...
As Many of the Infendo Fans are aware, today is Star Wars Day. I would like to say to each of you: May the Fourth be with you! In celebration of this wonderful holiday, which I hope someday becomes nationally recognized so I can take the day off work and veg out with a Star Wars Marathon, I am posting some Nintendo related Star wars videos, and listening to teh Star Wars Pandora Station I created...
As with every main-series Pokémon game, Black 2 and White 2 will undoubtedly feature the ability to trade Pokémon with their previous installments. However, this time around, it’ll be interesting to see exactly how the games justify the act of the trade. Seeing as the games belong to the same generation of games (the fifth), moving Pokémon from game to game will surely be done through simple...
So Nintendo’s numbers are down annually for the first time in three decades. The 3DS is selling well, but profits aren’t what Nintendo was expecting due to last year’s price cut. Does this all mean that Nintendo is behind the times and is doomed to a fate similar to SEGA? Not likely. Nintendo has an ace up its sleeve in the fight to stay relevant that to other company in the business it talking ab...
