Some enterprising individual took an old NES controller and turned it into a MP3 player. The controller buttons even work to control the music. Now if I could just mix this with the NES belt buckle, I’d be set. [Source: Boing Boing]

Resident Evil 4 Wins Game of the Year

Resident Evil 4 wins Game of the Year at the 2005 Spike TV Video game awards. The title also picked up best graphics of the year even though it was released back in January. Must have been the graphical craftsmanship. Nice win for the GameCube console, though it’s not a first party game. Regardless, well done Capcom. [Source: Gamer Horizon]

Nintendo Movies Coming

In a recent interview with Mexican magazine Club Nintendo, Reggie Fils-Aime drops hint of a Metroid movie adaption in the works. Mario Kart DS: Drifting is Life

Day 3 of Mario Kart was the best yet. I stood outside the Nintendo World Store for four (count em, 4) hours in the pouring rain just so my wifi-lacking self could play wifi. It was a good ol’ time.
