The new issue of the UK’s Official Nintendo Magazine claims that Wii will be able to output in 720p HD.
From the magazine’s Wii Launch feature: “At the time of going to print, Wii games will output in 720i and 720p ’ 720i is your standard TV picture, 720p is a higher-quality signal …”
Last time I checked, 480i was a standard TV picture and 720i technically doesn’t exist.
Could this be the last secret we’ve been hearing about? Or is ONM wrong again?
