With the holiday season fast approaching, and the imminent launch of the Xbox one and PS4, Nintendo seems to be having a little difficulty separating the Wii U from the original Wii. To help differentiate the Wii U from the Wii, Nintendo released a chart comparing the two (See the chart after the jump). Now that the Wii U has been out for over a year, I feel that Nintendo should forget about the predecessor and focus solely on the Wii U, however the original Wii seems to constantly rear its ugly head. Now, to me at least, it seems tat Nintendo would benefit form discontinuing the Wii completely, and focus solely on the Wii U and the 3DS/2DS. Instead, they decided to release the Wii Mini here in the US (Which is a pretty magnificent little beast by the way).
Although unintentional, there is still too much confusion about the Wii VS the Wii U, and I believe that the chart will help. However, I feel that they should have left the Wii off of the chart altogether and compared themselves to the competitors instead, thus showing us the benefits of purchasing a Wii U. What are your thoughts, is the below chart a good move, or a bad move? Will it make a difference at all?
