NintenDaan has posted a video to his YouTube account that shows new (albeit small) features have been added to Nintendo’s social network community, Miiverse. Nintendo had previously announced that their Wii U online community would be undergoing some maintenance on Monday, so it’s possible their shutdown could have been related to the company tweaking the Miiverse interface. The new features include a favorite communities tab being displayed in the main communities menu and a other communities option. Also, users will have access to a new button layout linking the Nintendo eShop via the Miiverse, alongside popular posts and settings.
This small update comes off the heels of Nintendo announcing that two major updates to the Wii U OS will arrive in the Spring and Summer respectively.
With Nintendo implementing these updates to the Miiverse, what would you like the company to do to further improve the overall experience? Tell us in the comments below.
