Tetsuya Nomura says Kingdom Hearts 3DS is 40-50 percent done

Kingdom Hearts 3D (Dream Drop Distance) was one of the first titles announced along side the 3DS when Nintendo lifted the curtains last summer. In an interview with Famitsu, Kingdom Hearts director and character designer Tetsuya Nomura reveals that the 3DS title is currently 40-50 percent complete.

Not much about the title is known at present, at Nomura was very coy with Famitsu giving vague hints such as “XXX and XXX in Traverse Town” and saying “the story will touch upon the hidden data in Sora.”

No word or a Japanese release, so I would expect to see this one stateside until 2012 at the earrliest.
