Suda51, the reknowned designer of titles such as Killer 7 and No More Heroes, has spoken out on his thoughts on developing games for the Wii U. While speaking with Expansive DLC, Suda51 stated that making games for Nintendo’s home console aren’t out of the realm of possibility.

“Yeah of course, it’s a possibility,” says Suda51. “I guess we haven’t really announced anything yet for Wii U, but for 3DS we had Liberation Maiden.. consoles from Nintendo are always very important to us.”

Suda51 hasn’t developed a game for a a Nintendo home console since No More Heroes 2 for the Wii in 2010. And despite the lower-than-expected sales of numbers of his games on different consoles like the PS3 and the Xbox 360, he continues to pledge his support for Nintendo’s products. Even with the Wii’s lack of mature titles, Suda51’s titles offered something in terms of art style and atmosphere that wasn’t seen before.

For years, he has purchased every one of the company's subsequent products (yes, including the Virtual Boy and eReader). It wasn't until he was a young teen when he bought a PS2 that he began to embrace cross-console relations, a decision he doesn't regret. When he's not gaming, Harrison is looking to break into the magazine journalism industry and realize his dream of becoming a features reporter.
