How have I never heard of Code of Princess before? My 3DS NEEDS this game.

I have never heard of Code of Princess before I caught this Youtube video the other day, but now I want it, boy do I want it. The game looks to be a beat ’em up with some pretty fantastic design work from Kinu Nishimura of Street Fighter fame. The game is from developer Agatsuma Entertainment, and hasn’t been announced outside of Japan so no word if it will ever be localized, but if I was a betting man I would say that this one will be coming our way sometime this year. Hit the jump for some concept art if you’re interested.

  1. Looks good I am a sucker for beat em ups.

  2. Yep. Heard about this one a while back when the first piece of concep art was shown, statue and all. Looking forward to a US release.

  4. I heard of it, but this is the first time seeing it in action. Would be cool to have on my 3DS!

  5. Yes, yes yes yes, and more yes!

This, Kingdom Hearts, and Pirate King are the only games keeping my 3DS, well, mine.

  6. It makes me sad the the 3DS is region locked.

  7. I like beat em ups, but they need to be co-op.

  8. This is from some of the key members of the Guardian Heroes team.

Man, all of the best 3Ds games I want are Japan-only… This, Lost Heroes, Monster Hunter 3G, etc…

I’m kinda regretting buying my 3DS… I shoulda got a JPN system instead… Or Nintendo should lift the region lock.
