Smash Bros. Tournament, Galaxy hands-on at E for All

Smash Bros at E for AllAnyone lucky enough to be heading to E for All — and yes, I just said “lucky enough” — will get a chance to play Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros. Brawl.

Nintendo’s PR firm just pinged the Infendo mailbox with the good news… and there’s more:

Nintendo will be showing a huge lineup of cool games for both Wii and Nintendo DS, including the hugely anticipated Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Oct. 18-22 event at the Los Angeles Convention Center will be the first opportunity for the public to get their hands on these games and take them for a test drive. In addition, Nintendo will host a daily Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament. Competitors get a free Wii-themed T-shirt, and a different T-shirt will be available each day of the show.

Hands-on play time. Tournaments. Free things. A Pokemon “gotta catch ’em all” approach to conference swag. Sounds like a pretty good time to me. I take everything back and offer my apologies to the little consumer show that could.

  1. it’s things like this that make me want to move to LA…

  2. Damn, ii´d love to play Smash, well the date is coming certainly 🙂

  3. Less than two months till Brawl comes out and it feels like we still have a ton of questions. Here’s another one: Will there be a point where ‘all is revealed’ before the game actually comes out, or will there still be secrets for the finding in December?

  4. David, it should be just like it was with melee, in that lots will be revealed, but lot more will stay secret. there are so many secrets in smash bros after all, and there are alot more in brawl then even in melee.

even with around 40 updates to go, theres still, say 5+ characters to unveil, 10+ stages to unveil, dozens more items, pokeballs, assist trophies, special moves, smash moves, gameplay modes, online features, events, single player bosses, and maybe even new things we dont have a clue about.

  5. *sigh* I wish I could play Brawl…like now like.

  6. -_-…I wish I could be there to play Brawl before EVERYONE else….Oh well, I can buy one of those Tshirts from someone on Ebay and pretend like I went XD

  7. With all of the bad ass games coming out, how come Nitnendo’s E3 blew this year. Say what you will, but it was lame.

I remember wanting to play TP extremely bad, and then being disappointed. We are all better off just being interested, but not THAT interested.

  8. […]we came across a cool site that you might enjoy. Take a look if you want[…]…
