Should the GBA just die?

EGM recently stated that only crappy games are being developed for the dying GBA (11/06 issue), hence the platform should just go away. I’m not going to lie; I think the target audience for the GBA is extremely young now, but I personally think the platform still has some life in it, despite the fact that even Nintendo wasn’t supporting it or the GameCube at E3 this year.

Do you agree with EGM’s assessment? Though it launches around the same time as Wii, I’m looking forward to playing Sonic Genesis on GBA come November 14 (for $20). I haven’t played that game in over 10 years and still consider it the second best platformer of all-time.
