SEGA announces DLC for Samba de Amigo

SEGA announced today via an E3 press release that Samba de Amigo “will be one of the first titles to offer exclusive downloadable Wii content.”

Songs will be released in packs of three on a regular basis. The first pack will be available at the game’s launch and will include “I Want Candy” by Bow Wow Wow, “Are You Going To Be My Girl?” by Jet and “Mambo Mambo” by Lou Bega.

SEGA has yet to reveal a pricing structure. Samba de Amigo is scheduled to release exclusively for Wii Sept. 23.

  1. Very interesting to see this announcement just after the Nintendo E3 keynote, where storage solutions weren’t mentioned. Keeping my fingers crossed that the SD slot will finally be useful, and that Nintendo just chose not to talk about that during their speech.

  2. They say it will have DLC…. but how? Is it just gonna be a channel? SD Card? Also, does the Wii SD slot take HCSD?
