Back in 2011, there was news of a little game called Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney. A shiver of excitement roared through the fan base. The cheers could be heard across the Nintendoverse…then there was silence…
That silence has finally been broken by Ace Attorney creator Shuu Takumi when he stated that the progress of the upcoming 3DS game is nearing its end. In fact, he is focusing his life on the completion of the game.
“The production of Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney is at its climax. While I still cannot say much, [the game development] is progressing well, so please wait a bit more.”
There is no confirmation that the game will arrive in North America. What are your thoughts on the game, and how do you think the two will mesh together?
