Believe it or not, Nintendo says there will be hardcore blood at E3 this year, in the form of new game announcements intended for dedicated gamers, that is. GamePro has the scoop:
“We recently announced the upcoming release of Mario Super Sluggers,” said Marc Franklin, director of public relations at Nintendo, when asked by GamePro on Friday which upcoming Wii titles core gamers should be excited for. “Additionally, we will be announcing several new titles that core gamers will be interested in around the time of E3.”
It should be noted that Nintendo considers Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl “core” games, as would I. So if those types of games suit your fancy, there seems to be more just around the corner.
