In a group conference call I attended this morning, Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime had this to say when asked if voice chat would be coming to Wii.
“Our system has the capability for online voice chat, it’s just an issue of deciding on a peripheral. I would not be surprised to see Wii voice chat in the future.”
I could be wrong, but I swear that was code for, “In time, my little friends. In time.”
