Anyone else disappointed that the 3DS never had a cool codename? I totally thought Nintendo would come up with a new name for their upcoming portable before it launched. So, no cool codenames like Revolution (Wii), Nitro (DS), Dolphin (GameCube), Atlantis (GBA), or Project Reality (N64). Are you disappointed? Or is there still hope we find out it had a badass nickname when it was still a twinkle in Iwata’s eye?
UPDATE: Elmer corrected me. Apparently the 3DS was known by “CTR” at one point. Any speculation on what those letters stand for would be welcome, too!
