Nintendo Japan has the latest today on all things power cords and cabling for the Wii this morning, so if connecting things to other things is your thing, check it out (especially a first glimpse at the Ethernet connector in the image below). One thing to note is that previous peripherals like the Game Boy Player will not work with the Wii, as was pointed about by Dave. “Software of [nintendogemukiyubu], controller and peripheral device of memory card and the like available (However, modem adapter and broadband adapter, game boy player, AV cable and AC adapter excluded).”
