Mario Kart 8 will undoubtedly boast the series’ largest roster of playable characters, judging by today’s announcement of 7 new additions. Joining their long-time boss (the Koopa King himself, Bowser), the 7 Koopalings will be familiar faces to anyone who played Super Mario 3 back in the day or more recent releases like New Super Mario Bros. Wii. In addition to revealing the Koopalings’ inclusion in Mario Kart 8, the above trailer features a great new look at the game’s visuals and gameplay.
